Hasitha Sanjeewa Samarawickrama is a dynamic and accomplished professional with 19 years of extensive experience in the Bancassurance/Insurance sector, specializing in both Life and General Insurance in Sri Lanka. Hasitha started his Bancassurance career with HNB Assurance. He worked as the Head of Bancassurance at LOLC Life Assurance, the fastest-growing insurance company in Sri Lanka and LOLC Holdings PLC part of the largest conglomerate in the country. With a strong passion for excellence and a deep understanding of the insurance industry, Hasitha has proven expertise in product development, channel establishment, business partnerships, team leadership, and performance management. Hasitha's academic background includes an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, as well as certificates in marketing, professional selling, and business computing from reputable institutions such as the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), London Centre of Marketing, UK, and the Association of Accounting Technicians.
